Personal Approach:

My approach is iterative; I constantly change the the way and level of what I teach in response to feedback from the student.

My approach is iterative; I constantly change the the way and level of what I teach in response to feedback from the student. Having spent more time than most at university, I have learnt a plethora of methods to remember the variety of material expected of the modern student, as well as the best strategies for effective preparation and techniques to use in the exam. More importantly, I bring an enthusiasm to the subjects I teach which I pass on to the student.

What I do when not tutoring:

As a clinical medical student, I am normally busy during the weekdays but the evenings and weekends are my own. I am an average badminton player and a bad guitarist, which along with a regular workout in the gym helps me to relax.

Testimonials:

05/01/2018: Jonathan is a great tutor. He far exceeds the minimum with punctuality, a clear, prepared plan of action, experience and technical knowledge, and delivers all of this with a great sense of humour that makes the tutoring sessions seem more like fun than work. I can only highly recommend him as a tutor and will be doing so here in Zurich. I can say with 100% certainty I have no regrets in terms of the tutoring preparation for the interviews. It was all spot on. (Oxbridge Student 2017)

08/12/2017: Jonathan is a really great tutor; knowledgeable, patient and kind. I look forward to our lessons (Oxbridge Medical Student, 2017)
