I am a Cambridge-educated tutor, who has taught across a broad range of age groups from GCSE and A-level to undergraduates. I have taught GCSE and A-level Politics for several years and across a variety of subjects, ranging from British Politics and Political Thought to International Relations and Politics in the US. Working at the Treasury in Whitehall has given me the opportunity to approach politics first-hand, and I use my insights to spark my students' interest in domestic and international political affairs.

I have also tutored Spanish at GCSE and AS/A2 level for several years. Most recently, I have helped a student achieve top marks in her GCSE by helping her understand some of the more tricky grammatical rules in Spanish.

Besides offering Politics and Spanish, I have also tutored in my native language, German. For example, I helped an A-level student improve his writing skills dramatically by teaching him a way to rehearse German vocabulary more effectively; he is now studying German at university.

I am very experienced helping students structure arguments in essays and improving their time management skills in exams. As a language enthusiast, I am also very keen to help my students find ways to incorporate their learning into their everyday lives. Having learnt several foreign languages myself has enabled me to better understand the challenges and difficulties students often face.
