Please note:

  • Rates: Subject to experience and availability, our tutor rates range from HKD 960–1250 per hour for all subjects. For clients interested in UK aptitude tests for university applications (e.g. LNAT, UKCAT, BMAT etc.), please contact our Client Manager at for more details on University Consultation package pricing.

  • 11+ and Pre-Tests: Schools release limited information on pre-tests and regularly change their format. Therefore, ARCH Online Tutors’ pre-test preparation will entail a thorough review of the 11+ curriculum. Where appropriate, we will tailor this as far as possible to the specific tests (e.g. computerised versus past papers).

    • For students who are sitting computerised pre-tests at 11+, ARCH Online Tutors now offers students (aged 8-11) a mock computerised assessment covering Developed Ability, Maths, Reading and Spelling. Included in the assessment is detailed feedback of the student’s level in each area. Please note, this computerised assessment is only available in Hong Kong and the UK. To schedule, please email

  • 16+ Exams: 16+ entrance examinations are correlated to your understanding of the GCSE / iGCSE curriculum and look to test your potential at A-Level / Pre-U / IB. Therefore, ARCH Online Tutors’ 16+ tutoring will ordinarily be provided by GCSE / iGCSE tutors with A-Levels tutors teaching subjects not covered at GCSE / iGCSE level.

  • Critical Reading: Critical Reading, different from general English, is a bespoke program involving a guided reading program in which students are led by top tutors in analyzing selected literary texts with a critical eye.
